Supreme Court Ruling Affirms Parenting Rights for Same-Sex Couples

The U.S. Supreme Court recently refused to overturn an Arizona Supreme Court ruling that says same-sex couples are entitled to the same parenting rights as opposite sex couples when they get divorced. It’s now clear that same-sex couples are entitled to marriage on the same terms and conditions as opposite sex couples. Under prior Arizona law, marriage was defined as a union between one man and one woman. That law was found unconstitutional in 2015.
